Visitors to the biggest-ever Gold Coast International Marine Expo in May will be able to put a huge range of boats through their paces with almost 50 berths so far booked for instant sea trials.
The on-water tests of late-model boats and engines will involve world-leading international and Australian brands including Mercury, Bluefin, Baysport, Yamaha, Quintrex, Streaker, Suzuki, Stejcraft, Evolution, Revival, Vortex, Misty Harbour Pontoon Boats, Caravelle, Extreme and Evinrude … to name just a few.
“Expo 2016 will be an incredible experience for real boating enthusiasts regardless of whether they’re looking for their next boat or their first boat,” said Event & Marketing Manager Emma Brown.
“The Expo sea trial berths met with immediate success when we introduced them last year and this year we are taking the on-water experience to a whole new level.
“With trials across a diverse range of boats of all shapes and sizes, this is a great opportunity for our visitors to try before they buy.”
‘The boat show with so much more’ – staged right in the heart of Australia’s boating industry capital, the Gold Coast Marine Precinct, from 19-22 May 2016 – will showcase over 500 yachts and boats both on the water and on land as well as over 230 exhibitors featuring every marine display you can possibly imagine – everything from large luxurious motor and sailing yachts to lightweight tenders and boats designed for sports, fishing and family fun.
Also on display will be everything from engines to accessories and equipment to jet skis, kayaks, fishing equipment … and everything else in between … as well as fun family attractions and live entertainment across the giant 3km Expo display circuit.
“Nowhere else in the world is there a boat show held right in the heart of the biggest boat-building facilities and recreational shipyards in the Southern Hemisphere,” said Mrs Brown.
“The Expo is the best place to buy a boat or boating equipment with hundreds of exhibitors in the one place keen for your business.”
