Australia’s No.1 semi-displacement boating brand, Clipper will stage a spectacular $10 million on-water display at the Gold Coast City Marina site.
Managing Director Brett Thurley said the Expo display – to be staged right in the heart of Australia’s Boating Industry Capital: the Gold Coast Marine Precinct – will showcase Clipper’s new Hudson Bay 36 and Cordova 62 designs for the first time anywhere in the world.
On display for the first time publicly will be the new Explorer 50 Pilothouse, while two 2016 Cordova 60s and a selection of premium brokerage yachts comprising two Cordova 48s, a Heritage 50, Heritage 34 and Cordova 45 will complete the luxurious Clipper line-up.
“For anyone contemplating a serious passage-making, semi-displacement motor yacht, Expo will provide the best opportunity to see all that our brand has to offer,” said Mr Thurley.
“The Hudson Bay is powered by a 370-horsepower diesel shaft-drive Yanmar 8V, sleeps four in two cabins with a top speed of 23 knots and comes with air-conditioning, generator and electronics. Priced at $429,000 she is great value in today’s market,” he said.
“The three-stateroom/two-bathroom Cordova 62 is a true blue-water passage-maker and will suit discerning boaties who are looking to spend considerable time on the water and do some serious cruising. Standard features include hydraulic stabilisers; hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, a large aft cockpit, flybridge hardtop, a built-in flybridge wet bar, a full Raymarine Electronics package.”
