Boat show with so much more, Gold Coast International Marine Expo

Caterpillar power helps move visitors at Expo

Transportation between all 5 key Expo sites will be absolutely FREE in 2015 thanks to a new and exclusive partnership with specialist Caterpillar marine distributor, Energy Power Systems Australia.

Boat show with so much more, Gold Coast International Marine ExpoThe support from EPSA and Caterpillar’s marine arm, Cat Marine, extends across the range of free Expo transport options, including free cruising via licensed ferry with live entertainment between the three Expo marinas, free shuttle buses to and from Coomera Railway Station and the free courtesy buses that run continually along the entire length of Waterway Drive, seamlessly linking all the Expo event and car-parking sites.

“The support of EPSA and Cat Marine ensures visitors have the best chance to experience everything there is on offer across an event site totalling over 50 hectares,” said Event & Marketing Manager Emma Milne.

“This year we also have over 2000 free car-parking spaces right outside the Expo gate and, when combined with the event transport options, it means we are able to offer the most visitor-friendly marine industry event in the country.

“We really do appreciate the fact that Cat Marine and Energy Power Systems Australia has come onboard – Caterpillar have some exciting new products and technology to launch in Australia and Expo is the ideal medium to reach current Cat owners, repower clients and, of course, new boat prospects.

“Caterpillar is a major global marine industry force and their story here in Australia, in particular that of EPSA, reflects the spirit of cooperation upon which the Expo was created.”

EPSA was founded in 1992 with the amalgamation of Australia’s regional Caterpillar dealers into one single national engine company. The company is now a driving force throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region.

“It goes to show that great things can be achieved when everyone is working together,” said Ms Milne.
